Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how the AI Visibility Probe, operated by Deacon Hill LLC, doing business as nonBot AI ("nonBot AI," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you access or use the Service, including when you create and use a user account.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect limited personal information necessary to provide authentication, account management, and customer support. This may include your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and basic account metadata such as account creation date and last login time.
We do not require additional personal profile information to use the core functionality of the Service.
Information You Provide Through Use of the Service
When using the Service, you may submit website URLs, custom prompts, text inputs, or other content for analysis. This information is used to generate AI-driven outputs, evaluate AI visibility, and store historical results associated with your account.
Custom prompts, run history, and analysis results are stored so that you can revisit prior work and reduce redundant processing.
Information Collected Automatically
When you access the Service, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information. This may include IP address, browser type, operating system, device characteristics, timestamps, referring URLs, and interaction data within the application.
This information is used to operate the Service reliably, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not use this information to personally identify you beyond what is required for security, account integrity, or legal compliance.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to authenticate users, manage accounts, provide access to saved runs and prompts, operate and improve the Service, and communicate important service-related updates.
Information is also used to support AI processing workflows, including prompt generation, result evaluation, caching, and historical comparison. We may analyze aggregated and anonymized data to improve product functionality and performance.
We do not sell personal information.
AI Processing and Model Usage
Use of AI Providers
The Service relies on third-party AI providers, currently including OpenAI, to perform analysis, prompt execution, and evaluation tasks. Information submitted through the Service—such as URLs, prompts, and generated outputs—may be transmitted to these providers solely for the purpose of delivering the requested functionality.
We do not submit account credentials or authentication data to AI providers, and we do not intentionally submit personal information for model training purposes. Data handling by AI providers is governed by their respective privacy policies.
AI-Generated Outputs
AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Outputs are provided for informational and research purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or operational advice.
Infrastructure and Data Storage
The Service is hosted on secure, managed cloud infrastructure. We use reputable third-party service providers to host the application, process background jobs, and store data.
These providers act as subprocessors and are contractually obligated to implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures consistent with industry standards.
Data may be stored and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
Analytics and Tracking
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service, including traffic patterns, feature usage, and general engagement. This data helps us improve usability, reliability, and performance.
Google Analytics may collect cookies, IP addresses, and usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policies. You may opt out through browser settings or Google's opt-out tools.
Apollo
We use Apollo to understand company-level usage patterns and inform product development and outreach. Apollo may associate usage signals, such as IP addresses or domains, with organizational data.
We do not intentionally use Apollo to collect sensitive personal information.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to support authentication, session management, analytics, and core functionality. Disabling cookies may limit certain features, including login persistence.
Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account remains active. Analysis data, prompts, and run history are retained to support the functionality of the Service and allow you to revisit prior work.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the Service and only to the extent required to perform their functions. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Service and its users.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
International Data Transfers
Information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place where required by law.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You may also request account deletion or restriction of certain processing activities.
Requests can be submitted using the contact information below.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encryption, access controls, and secure authentication practices. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
