Billing Management

Manage your nonBot AI subscription, payment methods, and billing history. This guide covers all billing-related tasks.

Accessing Billing Settings

Click your user menu in the top-right corner and select Billing or Subscription to view and manage billing information.

Current Subscription

The billing page shows your current plan name (Pro, Elite, or Agency), billing cycle (Monthly or Annual), price per period, next billing date, and subscription status. Status can be Active for a normal paid subscription, Past Due when payment failed and action is needed, Canceled when set to cancel at period end, or None when there's no active subscription.

Payment Methods

View your current card on file including the card brand (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), last 4 digits, and expiration date. To change your card, go to Billing settings, click Update Payment Method, enter new card details, and click Save. The new card will be used for future payments. Some plans allow backup payment methods that serve as automatic fallback if the primary fails, preventing service interruption.

Billing History

View past transactions showing invoice date, amount charged, payment status, and plan at time of charge. To get PDF invoices for accounting, go to Billing History, find the invoice you need, click Download or the PDF icon, and save for your records.

Subscription Changes

To upgrade to a higher plan, click Upgrade Plan, select the new plan, confirm the prorated charge, and the new plan activates immediately. See Upgrading Your Plan for details.

To downgrade to a lower plan, click Change Plan, select the lower plan, confirm the change, and it takes effect at the next billing cycle. Important: ensure current usage fits new plan limits before downgrading.

To cancel your subscription, click Cancel Subscription, confirm cancellation, and access continues until the period ends. Your data remains accessible after cancellation.

Billing Cycle

Monthly billing charges on the same day each month with full access for 30 days and automatic renewal. Annual billing is a single charge for 12 months with approximately 20% savings and automatic yearly renewal.

To switch from monthly to annual, the change is immediate with credit for unused time. Switching from annual to monthly can only happen at next renewal.

Payment Issues

If a payment fails, you receive an email notification, your subscription enters "past due" status, and access may be limited if not resolved. To fix a failed payment, go to Billing settings, update your payment method, and retry the payment if prompted. Contact support if issues persist. Stripe automatically retries failed payments over several days, notifying you of each attempt—update your card to ensure success.

Refunds

Refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact support within 24 hours of the charge, provide the reason for your refund request, and note that accidental purchases are typically refunded. Prorated refunds for downgrades or cancellations are not standard. To request a refund, email support with your account email, transaction date, and reason for request. Support reviews within 1-2 business days, and approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.

Receipts and Taxes

Receipts are sent automatically after each payment—check your spam folder if not received. They contain transaction details and can be used for tax purposes. Stripe handles tax calculation with applicable taxes added at checkout varying by location. Tax details appear on invoices. For business accounting needs, download PDF invoices from billing history containing company info and tax details. Contact support for custom invoice requirements.

Security

All payments are secured via Stripe with card data never stored on nonBot servers. The system is PCI DSS compliant with encrypted transactions. If you notice unauthorized charges, contact support immediately, change your account password, review account access, and contact your bank if needed.
