Analytics Overview

The Analytics Overview tab provides a high-level snapshot of your website traffic with a focus on AI-referred visits. Once you've connected Google Analytics, this is your starting point for understanding how AI visibility translates into real website traffic.

Overview Metrics

The top of the Overview tab displays six key metric cards: Sessions shows total website sessions for the selected period, AI Sessions shows sessions specifically referred from AI assistants, Avg Duration shows the average session duration across all traffic, Pages/Session shows average pages viewed per session, Key Events shows total conversion events tracked in GA4, and Revenue shows total revenue if e-commerce tracking is configured.

Each metric card shows the current value alongside a comparison to the previous period, giving you a quick sense of whether traffic is trending up or down.

Traffic by Channel

The Traffic by Channel chart breaks down your sessions into standard GA4 channel groupings such as Organic Search, Direct, Social, Referral, and Email. Critically, it also shows AI / LLM as a separate channel slice, so you can see at a glance what proportion of your traffic comes from AI assistants.

This helps you understand how AI-referred traffic compares to your other acquisition channels and track growth in AI traffic over time.

Daily Trend

The Daily Trend chart overlays two lines: total sessions per day and AI sessions per day. This visualization makes it easy to spot patterns—for example, spikes in AI traffic after publishing new content or changes in AI referral volume as your visibility scores improve.

Conversion Events

The Conversion Events table lists your GA4 key events with their total count for the period. If you've configured e-commerce or lead-generation events in GA4, you'll see them here along with how AI-referred visitors contribute to those events.

Date Range

The analytics data defaults to the last 28 days. You can adjust the date range to analyze specific periods. All metrics, charts, and tables update to reflect the selected range.
